I recently retired from Manhattan College where I received my B.S. with a concentration in Psychology. Now, I have finally found the time to pursue my life-long interest in the arts.
Growing up in Manhattan, I had expressed an interest in attending the High School of Art & Design, but unfortunately, I was discouraged by my parents. Fast forward to 2023, I was finally able to pursue my dream.
My first venture was taking pottery classes with Dan Harelick. I then went on to take Watercolor classes with Dmitry Moshkovich, followed by Acrylic and Pastel classes with Danny Hauben. My creative interests also include poetry, photography, sewing and ceramics.
Having been invited to my first exposure to the Riverdale Art Association in December 2023, I knew I had found my niche. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The talents displayed left a profound impact on me. I enjoy expressing myself in all mediums and meeting people who share my interests.
I appreciate the opportunity to join the Riverdale Art Association, and look forward to becoming a part of the creative community in Riverdale.
